Giving That Goes Beyond the Holidays

At Friends of Santa, we believe support shouldn’t be seasonal but we do love a good seasonal theme. From summer essentials to sleigh-fulls of gifts, our work happens all year long.

With the help of our generous community (that’s you), we deliver joy, dignity, and practical help to families East of the Cooper, one thoughtful act at a time.

Christmas Giving

Making Holiday Magic (Minus the North Pole Commute)

Each year, we work with local school social workers at public schools East of the Cooper (in South Carolina) to identify families who need a little extra help during the holidays. Then we spring into action - shopping, wrapping, and delivering gifts, food, clothes, and essentials. Think: Christmas morning smiles, full pantries, and sometimes the occasional utility bill paid just in time. We’re not Santa, but we do take notes.

Christmas in July

Yes, We Plan Christmas in Flip-Flops

While the rest of the world is thinking sunscreen, we’re thinking spreadsheets. Christmas in July is our midyear campaign that helps fund the big giving season ahead. It’s the quiet hustle behind the scenes before the wrapping paper hits.

Stock the Closets

Summer Dignity Looks Like Swimsuits and Shampoo

Spring isn’t just for flowers! It’s for stocking the closets of local kids who need the basics. We work with social workers to provide hygiene products, seasonal clothing, and other summer essentials. It’s not glamorous… but it’s game-changing.

Because confidence sometimes starts with clean socks and a fresh towel and no kid should have to cannonball into summer without the basics.

Local Hearts. Big Impact.

Fueled by Cocoa and Kindness

Our volunteers are parents, neighbors, business owners, spreadsheet wizards, gift-wrapping pros, and snack-bringers. Some wear Santa hats. Others run point on logistics with military-grade precision. All of them care deeply about the families we serve.

Whether you want to shop, wrap, donate, or help us load up sleighs (aka SUVs), we’d love to have you on the team.
