Liz describes herself as "a servant at heart" who loves where she lives and wants to make a difference in her community, which is exactly what drew her to Friends of Santa a year ago. As the Volunteer Chair, she gets to channel that servant's heart into coordinating the amazing volunteers who make the magic happen. What touches her most about this work? Hearing the stories about the little items gifted to kids that end up meaning the most to them.

When she's not working as a realtor or coordinating volunteers, Liz loves surprising her family and friends by cooking their holiday favorites. After 30 years in the Charleston/East Cooper area, she's clearly found her home and her calling. Liz and her husband Ben share their house with twin high school boys and two rescue dogs, making for a lively household that probably keeps everyone on their toes.

Beyond Friends of Santa, Liz stays busy with the Junior League of Charleston, proving that her commitment to serving the community runs deep. Whether she's coordinating volunteers for holiday gift-giving or working on other community projects, Liz brings that same enthusiastic energy to making East Cooper a better place for everyone.
