Nancy has been the heart behind Friends of Santa's fundraising efforts since 2016, and it's easy to see why she was drawn to lead this incredible organization. With a big heart for helping families with children during tough times, Nancy finds the most meaning in "touching the heart of a child" through the work they do.

When she's not busy in her day job working in finance for defense contracting, you'll likely find Nancy in her kitchen at Christmas time, surrounded by her entire family and recreating her grandmother's treasured recipes. It's no surprise that if Nancy could be any Christmas movie character, she'd choose Mrs. Claus since she "absolutely loves to bake and feed everyone at Christmas time."

Nancy and her husband Jim, who are both financial professionals (which she says "keeps life interesting"), have called East Cooper home for 22 years. Together with their 15-year-old daughter and two dogs, they love traveling, helping neighbors, and enjoying life's simple moments together. While Nancy has volunteered with many charitable organizations around Charleston over the years, she's currently focusing her energy on Friends of Santa, where her passion for helping local families truly shines.
